John and Katy had a fancy Wednesday date night in New York City, heading out for an intimate (and expensive!) dinner on Nov. 21. Is he about to put a ring on it?
John Mayer and Katy Perry have been an item for awhile now, dating on and off since the “Roar” singer’s rough divorce from ex-hubby, Russell Brand in July 2012. But things are getting serious! VH1‘s The Gossip Table reported a Thanksgiving proposal back in October, and with Turkey Day fast approaching, and the couple being spotted by the Daily Mail on Nov. 21 leaving Manhattan’s swanky ABC Kitchen, it looks like the fourth-finger bling may very well be on the way!
John Mayer Planning To Pop The Question?
With Wednesday night’s temperatures dipping low in NYC, Katy snuggled into a fuzzy wool coat and matching beanie to stay warm — because no weather was going to keep her from a romantic meal with her love! The guitarist and hunk, however, wore little more than a light jacket, as let’s face it, Katy’s heat was more than enough for him!
The crooners enjoyed dinner for two at ABC Kitchen, the perfect spot for an intimate and tasty evening, assuming you’re willing to drop that kind of money.
So, does the duo have something to celebrate? Very possibly! Back in October, we reported The Gossip Table‘s news that John planned to propose to Katy on Thanksgiving and was even designing his own engagement ring! With the big American holiday just a week away, it’s perfect timing for John and Katy to have a lovely couples only night as a lead-up to popping the question, don’t you think?
Katy Perry’s ‘Unconditionally’ — A Love Song To John Mayer?
And let’s not forget Katy’s latest heart-wrenching single, “Unconditionally,” which, whether or not she admits it, seems to be an ode to John assuring him her love is everlasting. “Come just as you are to me. Don’t need apologies. Know that you are worthy. I’ll take your bad days with your good. Walk through the storm I would. I do it all because I love you, I love you unconditionally.”
I mean… if there was ever a wedding song!
