Liam Hemsworth Disses Miley Cyrus: ‘I’m Much Happier’ Without Her

Ouch! Two months after Liam and Miley called off their engagement, the ‘Hunger Games’ star says in a new interview that he’s ‘much happier’ and he has no regrets about their breakup because he knows he’s a ‘good person.’

Liam Hemsworth is having no trouble moving on from ex-fiance Miley Cyrus – in fact, he seems to be doing better than ever after their Sept. 16 split. ”These days I feel like I’m more centered and grounded than I’ve ever been,” Liam reveals in a new interview. Read on for all the details.

Liam, who met Miley in 2010 while filming their movie The Last Song, doesn’t have many positive things to say about the years he spent with her.

“For a few years I went down a path where I forgot to be in the moment and enjoy the moment,” Liam, 23, says in a new interview with the Associated Press.

Liam, who is currently single, says his Hunger Games: Catching Fire co-star Jennifer Lawrence helped him find the key to happiness after his breakup from Miley, 20.

“Being around someone like Jen, who is so honest and laughs all day long, I am forced to be in the right now. I’m much happier.”

Of course, it wasn’t easy for Liam to deal with all the media attention surrounding his four-year relationship with Miley, especially with all the cheating rumors.

“What I always keep in mind is that I know what the truth is and that’s all that matters,” Liam says. “I know I’m a good person.”

Liam may be happier without Miley, but he still supports her.

“I’m extremely happy for all her success,” Liam told ExtraTV on Nov. 13 when asked about Miley while promoting Catching Fire.

That was the first time he publicly mentioned Miley since their split in September — and it was a little kinder than his second mention!
