Love can be fickle, especially when you’re talking about TV couples. We’ve seen so many breakups and shakeups in recent months, it’s hard to keep track, so HollywoodLife.com combed through our favorite shows and plucked out the 10 couples we’re hoping to see shack up ASAP.
10 Couples We’re Rooting For This Season
The show: Glee (Fox)
The couple:Â Rachel (Lea Michele) and Sam (Chord Overstreet)
Why we want it: Finn will never be far from Rachel’s heart — or the side of her stomach — but she can’t be miserable and alone forever. Besides, wouldn’t you rather she move on with a nice guy she already has chemistry with? Don’t think we didn’t notice all that Sam-Rachel flirting this week!
The show: The Originals (The CW)
The couple:Â Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies)
Why we want it: She may be pregnant with his brother’s child, but no one will ever care about Hayley like Elijah does. I’m still recovering from their Romeo + Juliet pool moment, pictured above.
The show: Once Upon a Time (ABC)
The couple:Â Emma (Jennifer Morrison) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue)
Why we want it: Hook and Emma have only kissed once, but it was still hotter than every other couple’s chemistry combined. The only downside? With this show’s constant barrage of ridiculous familial revelations, there’s a good chance Emma and Hook will soon find out they’re related. Womp,womp!
The show: The Vampire Diaries (The CW)
The couple: Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev)
Why we want it: Not only do Stefan and Katherine have literally centuries of history — and chemistry — but she looks exactly like Elena! If he can’t have her, he might as well have the next best thing, right?
The show: Teen Wolf (MTV)
The couple:Â Scott (Tyler Posey) and Allison (Crystal Reed)
Why we want it: Don’t get me wrong, Allison and Isaac have crazy chemistry, but how can you deny what Allison and Scott once had? Their love was surprisingly pure and innocent — considering he’s a werewolf, and she’s a werewolf hunter – and I’d love to see them reunite in season 3B.
The show: Witches of East End (Lifetime)
The couple:Â Freya (Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and Killian (Daniel di Tomasso)
Why we want it: I love me some Dash, but honestly, there’s no denying the heat between Freya and Killian. Plus, we don’t yet know which of the Gardiner brothers is going to be her “destroyer.” Maybe Dash is the real bad guy!
The show: Awkward (MTV)
The couple: Jenna (Ashley Rickards) and Matty (Beau Mirchoff)
Why we want it: While I don’t approve of Jenna’s behavior this season — I actually don’t think she deserves any happiness at this point — life at Palos Hills High would be much easier if she got back together with Matty. Maybe they can kiss and make up at Collin’s funeral!
The show: Nikita (The CW)
The couple:Â Michael (Shane West) and Nikita (Maggie Q)
Why we want it: When we last saw Nikita, she was ditching Michael — and her engagement ring — to go into hiding. With only six episodes left in the series, we’re hoping ‘Mikita’ can squeeze in a reunion. It can’t end like this!
The show: Revenge (ABC)
The couple:Â Emily (Emily VanCamp) and Jack (Nick Wechsler)
Why we want it: Jack and Emily haven’t always seen eye to eye, but he’s one of the only guys in on her secret — and he’s super hot! They were in love once, and I’m fully confident they can get there again.
The show: Grey’s Anatomy (ABC)
The couple: Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Shane (Gaius Charles)
Why we want it:Â After enduring all that heavy Owen drama, Cristina definitely needs a change of pace in her next relationship. Plus, since this is officially Sandra Oh’s last season on the show, it’s only fair that Cristina should go out… with a bang!
