Kermit the Frog: lover, Muppet, international thief? The just-released trailer for Muppets Most Wanted reveals that everyone’s favorite felt-skinned friend has an evil doppelganger named Constantine — and he’s using Kermit to get away with the perfect crime! With the help of a well-placed mole, Constantine swaps places with Kermit, landing him in jail for a crime he didn’t commit. Though it purports to be a sequel to The Muppets (2011), Muppets Most Wanted is more like an updated version of 1981′s The Great Muppet Caper. On crack.
The new trailer also gives us a look at some of the many (red: maaaany) celebs making appearances in the movie, including: Tina Fey, Ricky Gervais, Ty Burrell, Celine Dion, Ross Lynch and literally countless others.
