Chris’s love triangle has long since died down, but the rivalry between his girls, Rihanna and Karrueche, is still on fire! And the non-stop competition is only fueled by the fact that RiRi and KT dress SO similarly. So who do YOU think is sexier?
The rivalry between Rihanna and Karrueche Tran obviously stems from their relation to Chris Brown, but even though that drama has dissipated — Chris and Karrueche are now firmly together — the girl-on-girl tug of war continues — because Rihanna and Karrueche have such similar taste in fashion!
Rihanna Vs. Karrueche Tran: Fashion Faceoff
Chris obviously has a type — because if Rihanna and Karrueche weren’t enemies, they could be twinsies. Â Pretty much every sort of outfit — high fashion, casual wear, swimwear, costumes — Rihanna has worn, KT has also donned, or vice versa. So let’s breakdown those different outfits, and find out which of Chris’ ladies comes out on top.
High Fashion
Rihanna got ultra couture for a black and white photo shoot with 032c magazine in October. The most stunning outfit she wore for the shoot was a sexy gothic black mermaid gown with a polka-dotted ruffle hem, accessorized by fishnet sleeves. Sure enough, Karrueche tweeted out a couture black and white shoot of her own three weeks later. In one her pics (which were for Kill Society), KT rocked a high fashion white duffle coat with a white leather jersey underneath.
The way RiRi’s black dress hugs her body — and the way she sexily posed in it — is really astonishing, while Kae’s look is hot, but not extraordinary. One point for Rihanna.
Casual Wear
Now, Rihanna and Karrueche’s definition of casual wear is definitely far from ours, but stick with us. KT first seemed to corner the sexy little black outfit market when she rocked a black crop top with flowing white pants in September, but then RiRi came along in a black velvet bodysuit that showed off every inch of her legs while out in New York on Nov. 18.
Sorry KT, just look at Rihanna’s legs in that outfit. Don’t hate the player. 2-0, Rihanna.
Swimwear
Both Rihanna and Karrueche’s swim games are on point. No two girls look hotter in bathing suits than they do. For example, the sexy one-piece KT rocked on Sept. 25 and the one RiRi wore on Aug. 30. Both girls wore the tantalizing swimwear well, but for some reason we feel ourselves gravitating to Karrueche’s salmon-colored swimsuit. Maybe it’s her accompanying makeup. Karrueche’s on the board — one point for her.
Costumes
It all comes down to the costumes. Surprisingly both girls dressed up as “cholas” for Halloween 2013, but let’s talk about their go-arounds as sexy Vegas-styled show dancers. Rihanna wore the get-up — a blinged-out bikini and ornate headdress — for Carnival in Barbados on Aug. 5. Karrueche seemed to rip off Rihanna’s Carnival look with a second Halloween costume. She was crazy hot, supposedly dressing as Aphrodite, in a similarly bedazzled bikini top and skimpy, thin skirt.
KT deserves some praise for her get-up, but it just feels like a lesser version of Rihanna’s outfit. For originality, raciness, and flat-out commitment, we have to give this one to Rihanna.
