Nevertheless, you are showing that you have really grown up in the relationship department, and so far at least, you haven’t picked up your pen and your guitar to write a new song about Harry’s latest betrayal.

Good strategy, Taylor. Even if you still have feelings for Harry — which we hear you do — you’re much less likely to get hurt if you don’t get worked up about this new Harry and Kendall flirtation. First of all, you know it’s unlikely to last. Kendall may be a beautiful girl, and I’m sure she’s fun, but she really doesn’t have anything in common with Harry, a musician who, even though he’s just 19, is light-years ahead of her in life experience.
Taylor — Harry & Kendall’s Romance Probably Won’t Last
In terms of being able to really understand what Harry’s life is like and being able to talk about it and empathize, Kendall is only going to be able to go so far. She’s certainly not in a position to be able to totally commiserate with him like you are, Taylor. And while Kendall is probably far more worldly than the average 18-year-old, and she’s working like Harry, they still travel in very different worlds. She’s modeling, he’s singing; she’s filming her family’s reality TV show, he’s giving concerts around the world. On the other hand, you’ve done exactly what Harry does every day, and you still do.
And Taylor, even though Harry’s been the butt of some of your song and video jabs, he actually appears to appreciate your songwriting and singing talent. Not only that, our sources tell us he’s recovered from the series of disses that you publicly lobbed at him for months. I think he’s fascinated by you, Taylor, and the fact that you didn’t roll over when you broke up probably adds to that fascination. So as gorgeous as Kendall is, I just don’t think she’s going to be able to have the emotional pull on Harry that you have had.
Now, that doesn’t mean that you and Harry will get back together, even though there are hints that you’re both interested in doing so. But at least you probably won’t have to be confronted by a long-term Harry-Kendall romance. In any case, you’re handling the situation with major maturity by keeping your cool, and that’s a really good idea since the two of you will most likely run into each other at the Sunday, Nov. 24 American Music Awards, where you’ll both be performing.
I have a feeling, Taylor, that you’re going to look amazing on Sunday, and Harry will definitely be missing you even more than he already is!
